The army of United States want to Androids

Author: No terminators, but Android embedded devices to update their digital arsenal. The army of United States in particular think that Android in G.I. had issued smartphones and tablets will do much good in the field of battle. But first, you need applications. What better platform for custom Android applications?
According to TG Daily:
The idea is to combine the increasingly ubiquitous Android platform with the existing military handheld devices to stay connected as much as possible.
Opening up a mobile platform widespread, the Army hopes that also you can extract to the aid of the third-party developers to create new applications based on existing technology and infrastructure of the organization.
The only problem we see is that development will be left to civilian companies. If it is true almost every important piece of hardware used by the army it is carried out by private companies, apps may be vulnerable to the rather undesirable elements. (Do Uh, hackers?) More even if Android is the OS of choice for the interconnected armed forces.
Android in the army is expected to be the norm in 2013.
